I agree. But most people simply don't do such things, particularly when they are at their lowest ebb. They're looking for solutions to their problems, not researching weird cults. Unfortunately, cultists are extremely convincing and charming. Ensnaring new people is their bread and butter so it stands to reason that they'll be very, very good at convincing an initially sceptical person that anything negative they've heard or read about them is nothing but lies and smears.

They are con-men and con-women. I abhor them and the sooner their obnoxious cult is made illegal in the UK (as it already is in several other countries), the better in my opinion.
