After poor redhelen's "coffeegate" saga, I wonder who on AB I might risk half-inching a brew from.

Obviously RH would not be a target (it's now locked in her drawers anyway) and JtH seems a bit fierce today after the £26000 thread ...

... perhaps fluff might not be paying attention - although I'd not risk borrowing cake as well - don't need a fork in the back of my hand ;+)

i have a lot of coffee in my drawers, so its safe to borrow as much as you like but, yes i would stay clear of the

biscuit jar, sweetie jar and wasabi nuts or you might be in trouble :-)

oh and murphy's treat if your so inclined

I'll get my showercap ...
Cazzz - your tea sounds wonderful, can't stand wishy washy p***
I have some very nice Morroccan-stylee tea I am working my way through. I would gladly share it with you, so you wouldn't have to nick from me. :o)

I don't generally do coffee.......I've found that it's started to give me a headache, which is a real nuisance as I love a 'proper' coffee. :o(
well that rules dave out, rowan, but does he come packed in a jar?

Try "borrowing" a cake from B00......Mission Impossible,

Moi - one of the Cornish crew may lend me some coffee...Lady J perhaps. We look after our own down here....maybe Ratter and Carakeel would extend a friendly decent coffee across the Tamar.

I agree with you about the jar concept though, same really could be said of tea in bags, though Taylor's English and Scottish Breakfast in a reasonable compromise, and the same with M&S's teas.
