One can only guess that the body has been there for some time, in light of the cold case enquiries that are commencing.

This web site is more and more becoming a news web site with people rushing to be the first to post "bad news".

With news web sites like the BBC available, and news on the TV and radio, why do people feel the need to post all the bad news on here as well.

Let's try to get it back to a question and asnwer site, rather than a catalog of every murder and death that takes place.
it's been a particularly gruesome start to the New Year, or so it seems.

Fail to see your point VHG, I posted a newsworthy story in the News category. I did so because as opposed to most of the murders committed thus far in 2012 this one is different in that it may clear up the case of a missing person, in light of the cold-case factor of the enquiry.

Problem?
Hope they identify the remains, at least one family can put closure on a missing relative.
Wot do we post in the news category - if it is not "news" ?
Question Author
Looking at the questions you've posted in your profile VHG it would appear you like to post/discuss a fair bit of bad news yourself, which seems odd when there are so many far worthier and well informed sites that cover such stories........

Or is that just me sounding too cynical?

Oh my goodness, what has Prince Charles been up to over Christmas?

Anybody seen Earl Spencer recently?
Question Author
Not unless Earl Spencer has had a sex change DT..........

"The force has confirmed the remains were that of a woman."
Redhelen, I agree!! lets blame the Royals!! its all that German blood coursing through their veins!!!!!

*Chortlesplutters*, Just kidding!!
well there was theory that Edward VII was the Ripper......could just imagine E of Spencer in bra, panties and stockings - probably looked like his sister so perhaps the theory develops!
Give it a rest DT!! We're not all interested in what you do in your spare time!
I've always harboured suspicions about Philip.
If you had to nominate a fiction detective to investigate this case who would it be? I'd say Lord Peter Whimsey. He wouldn't be overawed by the noble suspects.

Nobility investigating the Monarchy sandy? No way!

It'd have to be Jack Frost.
It would have to be Holmes...and I'm Moriarty..mwhahaha
I would go for John Nettles as Barnaby but alas he normally has about three murders in one episode.
I don't know whether to laugh at you ummmm or tell you to bog off.
Brendan, lol, maybe there are more bodies to be unearthed - any mention yet of how long she has been there?
When Prince Charles was a young man he went out for a while with the daughter of a Brazilian diplomat. Does anyone know what happened to her?
