I won £28 at bingo tonight and I am thrilled to bits, It just meant that my night out didn't cost me anything. Although it is a small amount it was very exciting when my last number was called. Has anyone won anything more substantial....a car...a holiday or even the lottery.

Won £300 on the horses about 6 years ago all downhill since
I've won the Lottery several times but only £10s.
I have won £50 on the Premium Bonds too.

The best I can do I'm afraid.

Five-day trip to World Cup in South Africa last year from Mail on Sunday.
Hi Puss! I've tried winning at bingo's too. The highest pot that I won was $289 dollars. I'm not sure how much that is in your currency.
About £200, I think.

I once had a winning streak and won £3000 on the horses. But the bookie got it back, and more
£1500 on the lottery and numerous premium bonds ranging from £50-£500.
I live in the saddleworth area, but its easier to say i live in oldham and proud to do so pussnboots
Our fridge freezer packed a couple of weeks ago and after trudging round the sheds found one that would do the job. But being the sap, sorry wonderful husband I am I suggested we could have the one she really wanted. Went into work the following Monday and found we had won the office lottery to the tune of the extra £85 quid we paid for the fridge.

Not so bad!
good for you puss xxxx
Pubs chucked out then, Bobbi? :-))
I won £40 last month and£100 just before Xmas at Lovatts Puzzles
sadly, I seem to be quite unlucky!......only thing I ever won was a budgie, yes a budgie!.........in the school raffle about 50 years ago!.....not that good, cost more than the bird was worth to buy the cage etc.......it didn't do a thing, wouldn't talk!..........had it for many years............wasn't very impressed with it though!......

I've never won anything substantial but I know one person who won £10,000 in the football pools, years ago, and one who was part of a syndicate who won a large amount in the lottery. Proof that it does happen sometimes to people you know.
I won energy improvements including washing machine and condensing boiler etc to value of five thousand pounds with southern electricity about fifteen years ago.
It would take a substantial amount of winnings for me to cover all the money I have chucked away buying lottery tickets and scratch cards.
starbuckone, yes true, a friend of mine won the lottery, he was in a syndicate with his family, they all got a million pounds each, he's such a nice guy!.very grounded and stillm lives locally and stays friends with the friends he has had for years!.......
