So Dubai has a Court of Misdemeanours then, perhaps Britain should also have one along with a Minister and Ministry of Misdemeanours?

Perhaps then we could charge those that offend us?

<<<<<He laughed and said that I’m crazy and that prophet Muhammad was not a peaceful man but he is a terrorist.’>>>>>

Not the brightest comment to have made as a guest in a Muslim country.
Well Mohammed is a terrorist and a paedophile so I think not. As a general principle I would urge respect but mentioning what is the truth is at worst indiscreet.
When in Rome........

Well, the case is not proved yet or a judgement and sentence given. The Pakistanis version does not sound credible, or the tourist was incredible dumb.

A Court of Misdemeanours sounds like the Magistrates Court. Stuff that is too trivial to be brought before the Crown Court. Breaches of the peace and public indecency are often heard by magistrates, so nothing new for us to learn there.
How the hell do you get into an arguement about the taliban when you go shopping? Silly man.
Who 'us'?

Where is this group of British subjects who will agree on what is or isn't offensive.

I'm sure we could formulate all sorts of judging panels, including a Court made up of dignitaries who would find the antics and opinions of the average geriatric Daily Mail reader 'offensive'.

However, I think the idea of relating the standards of a country as backward and repressed in its attitudes and social mores as Dubai to this nation is fundamentally flawed.

It wouldn't hurt for you to show some respect to the Prophet who is revered by millions throughout the world.
why? I respect no entity that causes so much grief. I count all religion as equally risable. The fact that millions of humans are not bright enough to realise what complete and utter hogwash religion is, is a source of dispair to me that manifests itself in total derision, So forgive me ron if I don't share your view on this.

Yeah, let's hear it for Bob Dylan.
What a prat - deserves all he gets
I didn't think Bob Dylan was that bad ixion.
There was that Christmas album .....
When in Rome - yes, he should have been more discreet. He may feel like this, but surely he could have guessed the consequences.
Happy 70th Bob.......I'd never call you a prat.
Yes he should have.

Brits should recognise we have enemies; best to 'zip it' when abroad.
