no he shouldn't resign. I too think that the party would regret it if he goes, besides who is there currently to take his place,
Ok then, on that basis, you appear to be exonerating Jimmy Savile.
there is no exonerating that creature Savile, he was beyond redemption.
It's a weird mind that conflates the two.

There seems to be a "so" missing.

and, "...what you're sayin' is.."
Emmie - my response was to naomi.
Naomi - the system is yours, and if it applies to everyone, as it must, the fact that someone like Savile wins, is your problem, not mine.

The concept of good behaviour negating bad is yours, but the devil is in the detail.
Vulcan - What naomi is saying that good behaviour mitigates bad behaviour.

Jimmy Savile is the epitome of that unsustainable view, which is why I pointed it out.
^Does anyone know what he's going on about?
ok, but you should address it to the person directly
You know perfectly well naomi, diversion won't cut it.

I expect either lofty amusement, huffy withdrawal, or absence.

Your notion is demolished, have the grace to admit it.
that was to AH 8.49 post
Apologies emmie, I usually c and p, but I am on my phone and we cross-posted.
My notion is demolished. AH said so.
Huffy withdrawal it is then.
Consider it humouring you.
It's withdrawal naomi - standard practice when your argument is lost and you lack the grace to admit it.

If you believe your concept is valid ,you are welcome to defend it.

Or sulk.

I don't especially care which - the points are there for anyone interested.
Hmmm.... choices, choices. I think I'll sulk.
As usual, you poorly attempt some humour, to cover up the embaraasing abandoning of your facile argument.
