Does the African summit in China & the overwhelming praise from the Africans for the Chinese as opposed to the west , the presumed subsequent massive investment in Africa & China's influence there cause anybody cause for concern?

Hopefully it will result in there not being just one superpower the USA. A counterbalance is needed to prevent world dictatorship as is happening now.
It's what we deserve. Hell, we've done nothing for them- if anything we've dumped a lot of African nations into the ****. So is it any wonder that when China, even if acting not entirely altruistically, offers to invest and trade, they win support? Nah. And considering China's hyperspeed economic growth, is it any wonder if they become the new economic superpower? Nah. Will there be a load of Chinese businessmen in Shanghai laughing all the way to their (self-run) banks? You bet!
I think this will be very interesting. Africa will never be able to repay China and I am sure China will not be as lenient as the west to just write off the dept. So I forsee this turning into a new colonisation of Africa. By China.
