Dj Shadow

I am after the name of a song that starts with a long classical intro and then leads into a heavy bass driven beat there is more classical throughout and even some simple piano  - the song is quite dark and i think i may have heard it previously on an advert, i heard someone playing who told me it was DJ-Shadow - Unfinished Symphany  - but i cant find any record of this track, sorry its not a lot to go on.

Unfinished Sympathy was by Massive Attack, not sure if there are any other versions of it. Classical intro then heavy? Heavy as in dance or as in metal? The DJ Shadow website has sample tracks on it, you could try there (www.djshadow.com). I did a quick serch on WinMX as well, and got 184 results that were all different. Hope this helps!!

Cheers but it aint Massive Attack i know that track, i actually found it on winmx called "DJ SHADOW - UNFINISHED SYMPHONY" although as i can find no record of a track by this name i doubt it is actually by Shadow. I actually have the track on my pc but need it on vinyl, i can even email a clip to someone if they think they might be able to identify,

 

Oh yeah the the tune is dark in a dance way  - it is actually similiar to massive attack's style, and the piano in the track is well known classical piano.

I reckon your talking about 'Clubbed to Death' by Rob D.  It was in the Matrix. 

It starts of with a long classical bit, then drops into some heavy beat with classical overtones..  Theres also a solo piano bit in the middle.

My firest thought was that it's "Stem" by DJ Shadow, as used in a Guinness ad a while back.  I think it might be called "Long Stem" depending on the version.

i think it may also be copied from a dj krush record, i think its called meiso.

I think that song might be "blood on the motorway" by dj shadow.
