Well the Shadow Cabinet has been chosen, do any of them induce any kind of confidence in you, or do you not know who they are?

This guy sounds appropriate though.

who's in power? The ones without the shadow cabinet, probably. It just occurred to me that Labour aren't really the ones who should be inspiring me with confidence at the moment.

There was a time when anybody who kept up with the news would recognise the vast majority of the front benches of both major parties. Not now. I doubt I could place more than a quarter of them, such are the faceless apparatchiks that enter politics these days.

Chuka Umunna is indeed an excellent talent. I've been impressed by him.
I suspect actually that it's a bit of a myth that we recognise fewer politicians than we used to, but I can't prove it.
