It must be a strange hospital Dev and Sunita son is in - usually if your child is ill in hospital the parents are allowed to stay with them .... they only go at visiting times!

Maybe they thought the little boy was likely to get better quicker if he was only subject to Dev's acting for an hour at a time!!

ha ha :) surely he'd be on a childrens ward?
The whole storyline is pathetic!! He could have bumped his head on anything! i've had my 4 yr old up the hospital countless times with dislodged elbow, head split open!! i've never had social services come to me!
alot of things go unseen by social services that should have been seen though, but on other hand my mates child broke her leg when she was 1. But the way in which her leg had snapped made them point finger at my mate and her daughter had to stay at a family members for 6 months along with her brother.
hey 4get, did you know that mum and dad even got a grilling when our brother had a fractured collarbone?

it must be very difficult to have to decide whats accidental and what an act of abuse by parent.

But yes, to answer the OP, its silly, theyd have been allowed to stay with him, 24/7 if needed
my friends little girl was in a bouncer chair thing and mum went out room and brother and mates must have knocked it or fell on it as you could tell brake was exactly where bar was, but she was still taken away, my mate saw her everyday but had to leave both children at night to go home. She was also given IQ tests to do. But then you cant say they were wrong as they were doing a job, one they dont always do when there is abuse.
I slipped at home in the kitchen while carrying my son who was 2 at the time. He banged his head on the fridge. I took him to hospital to be checked. They found a Welsh speaking nurse to question him about what happened. I could even hear her asking him if mumy had hurt him. He kept saying " idge". Eventually they believed it was an accident. BTW this happend over 30 years ago.
