How will you know if we get the answer right?

And if it's a cash prize, will you be sharing it with whoever gets the answer right.

Morally, you should :-)

Got another one...

Radiohead.

Male lead singer.

Never had a UK number one.

They've scored a new film based on Palahniuk's Choke called 'Pitchfork'

Simple MInds had a number 1 with Belfast Child back in 1989ish.
Radioheads song Creep also featured in a film called Little Criminals (I think that's what it was called anyway).

paranoid android by radiohead got to number 1
Sorry triggerhappy but New Order had a hit with "World In Motion" in 1990.

Nope...it got to number three (according to www.theofficialcharts.com and www.everyhit.com).

It's a popular misconception that it got to number one.

Same as Like A Virgin by Madonna. Everyone assumes they both got to number one, but they didn't.

Paranoid Android deserved to get to number one, but only made it as far as number three.

Travis?

Texas?

Okay...they're technically Scottish, but have English members.
This is beginning to really bother me now.
I was rather hoping this would have been sorted by now. If possible, could it be progressed with a sense of urgency? Some of us would like to not get in to heated discussions about this in the pub this evening.

Tut.
How can you say what it isn't unless you know what it is?
Charlatans, Stone Roses, the list is endless! It's the Smiths, end of.
