driving instructor

i am considering becoming a qualified driving instructor,does anyone have any experience of this, whether i should train with a driving school and stay with them to instruct, or go it alone after qualifying?

any tips, pro's and cons etc...

any help or advice is gratefully appreciated.

There's a lot of them about.
Current credit crunch potentially means people can't afford it.
The price of fuel is too high.

I would say you will make a loss or break even at best for the first year or two while you're getting a name for yourself. If you can handle that go for it,if not,don't.
