wow...tough question! How do you judge BEST??? SOO many possibilities.....Ones that always makes me smile...If I Had a Million Dollars, by the Bare Naked Ladies and Caledonia by Dougie McLean. Ones that always makes me sad...Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O'Connor, Vincent by Don MacLean. But possibly my all time fave is American Pie. My very favourite songs are ones I can sing along to, and that lift my spirits when I hear them (eg Happy Hour by The Housemartins). What is your fave wizard????
Listen to Tenacious D's 'Tribute (the Greatest Song in the World)' to find out!
It is a total toughie - off the top of my head, my perenial faves, as 'best songs' are 'You Were Always On My Mind', and 'If You Could Read My Mind' - the use of the word 'mind' is purely coincidence by the way.
Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. Obviously.
Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus - it's got the lot!
I'd like to ammend my choices, after due consideration. I think that the 'best' song is either "Walk On By" or "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling".
"In my life" by The Beatles

well im not sure myself actually folks! Ive always loved most songs by The King and one of my favourites has got to be "Stairway To Heaven" by Led Zeppelin, absolute quality!
Didn't I blow your mind - The Delfonics, You were always on my mind - Elvis Presley, Trapped - Colonel Abrams, Where do you go to my lovely - Peter Sarstedt (just for the pure story quality of the lyrics), All along the watchtower - Yul Anderson, The first picture of you - The Lotus Eaters
hmm, it is tough but im not sure if this question can be answered because people like so many types of music, my favorite song is "Kill a Man" by Rage Against The Machine but then no one else will like tht because its too heavy for them. Another one of my favorites is Prodigy and Breathe.
Sorry I moust also add - Who knows where the time goes - Nina Simone
Depending on my mood at the time, I choose,All I want is you, by U2,Song to the Siren, by This Mortal Coil, or Heaven or Las Vegas, by the Cocteau Twins.
God Only Knows. When sung by Carl Wilson. Paul McCartney is pretty astute about these things.
Can't think of anything better than I am the resurrection by the Stone Roses
Hmmm... None of these will be "best" while anyone is still sweeping a small-town beauty off her feet and onto his Harley, and roaring out of town forever to the strains of Springsteen's "Born to Run"... :o)
"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen if you're driving, "Size of a Cow" by The Wonderstuff if you're partying, and "With or Without You" by U2 if you're... er... entertaining...
'Changes' by Tupac, definitley.
Blue/Come on- The Verve Nirvana- smells like teen spirit Prince- Kiss ?- she sells sancturary
wow there is sooo many good songs out there...but the one who tops them all...the absolute best of the best...is definately BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY by queen. thats gotta be the best song in the world...no questions asked.
Ash : The Cult sang She Sells Sanctuary.. As for my faves.. change everyday. I keep going back to Iron Lung by Radiohead, Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd and Little Fluffy Clouds by the Orb. Oh, and Popscence by Blur.
