Who or what were the above group named after please

It seems that it was an in-joke about studio gremlins,e.g. the trembling wilburys. The group took a vote after a lot of dicussion and traveling won.

I heard that the band discussed various names, and the joke idea of calling themselves 'The Wobbling Wheelbarrows', in view of the age of some of the senior members, and this eventually mutated into the Travelling Wilburys, which stuck.
