I never thought that.
They were OK.
Prefer End of the Line.
Sounds okay- one I'd forgotten about. Clear Dylan influence. But it still sounds Radio 2 material to me- I can't imagine anyone else playing it apart from 6Music. Radio 1 certainly never plays anything like this.
Sadly only 2 of the original 5 remain. They were a great combination
Thanks AH. I liked the main chorus, didn’t understand the rest. Never heard it before.
Thank you,
I'm off on a youtube journey again.
Love hearing these old ones sometimes.
Do yo know where the Travelling Wilburys got their name from?

Jeff Lynne had become a close friend of George Harrison and something of a confidante in the recording studio where Lynne showed a remarkable talent for editing out, or over dubbing mistakes and missed chords. Harrison, at one recording session said to the musicians present "don't worry Jeff will bury that". It became a bit of an in joke and then a clever moniker for a lot of the players who had heard the phrase before. True.

Since Bob Dylan wrote it, and sings the lead vocal, that's rather to be expected I would suggest.

You are most welcome.

Like all Dylan songs, you can dig as deep into it as you like, or simply enjoy the sound of the words and the atmosphere the band create singing and playing the song.
They were brilliant and Prince Charles suggested the name.
I love me a good supergroup, and there were none more super than The Wilburys (although The Highwaymen come close). Vol 1 is a magnificent album. It's a shame that (if I had to put them in order of preference) my favourite three are gone.
I love the Highwaymen :-)
For you, Theland. What do you give four country legends to record? You give them a Jimmy Webb tune of course!
