What are best compilation cd's for old school dance music , not cheesy tho

depends what you call old school if you thinking mid 90's house I like CLub Classics etc but particulary the Seb Fontaine and Tall Pall ones
Or if you have the money you (and this really depends as memore says on what you classify as old school and what genre of dance you are interested in?) get hold of any early Sasha & Digweed stuff which has all been deleted now but i think still sounds fresh and has for me stood the test of time and is out there on ebay etc , thats assuming it is a mixed compilation Cd you are after. Or the Global Underground series are pretty damm good too and i think might be easier to obtain as they arent all deleted yet
I agree as well on Sasha and Digweed I have some great stuff mixed by them - I would go by DJ rather than pick up Ministry of Sound or Cream etc but just my opinion
