please settle a family heated disscusion. when were last 78's made?...... i say the early 60's and that it's feesable that the beetles could have brought out one.

The Beatles certainly produced 78s in the '60s, but they were for the export market, mainly to India. I'm sure you'll get a much more detailed replies from other ABers

The older 78 format continued to be mass produced alongside the newer formats into the 1950s, and in a few countries, such as India, into the 1960s. Beatles 78s produced in India are among the most collectable Beatles releases.
