After a piece of minor surgery my skin was red raw on the areas where they had swabbed with disinfectant. It was painful and I was given steroids to clear it up. Has anyone else experienced this. Was the disinfectant too strong or do I have a reaction to it. ?

Well bluedolphin it really could be either. The fluid usually is used undiluted and as it comes from the manufacturers but it is possible that some people may have an allergic reaction. Why not ask your Doctor about it ... he will be able to check your medical records or you can ask to see the records yourself.
