We had this question a couple of weeks ago.

This Mortal coil - Song to the Siren (Tim Buckley song) + Robert Wyatt - I'm a believer (Monkees)

Butt Hole Surfers - Summer in the City (Three Dog Night originally... I think)

David Bowie - Amsterdam (Jaque Brel originally)

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - If You Want Me To Stay (Sly and the Family Stone originally)

RHCP - Higher Ground (Stevie Wonder)

RHCP - Love Rollercoaster (Ohio Players)

4Hero - Les Fleur (Mini Ripperton)

Mimi-moomoo I thought The Isley Brothers did Summer Breeze originally, who did? Also love Average White Band's cover of their classic Work to Do.

I think that All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix was voted best cover of all time in some poll or other (originally by Bob Dylan of course). Summer Breeze is an amazing song though.
