I liked RW, very easy on the ear, but I do recall his I'm going to leave old Durham town where one line he sings of sitting on the banks of the river Tyne, Durham sits on the Wear, it always made me chuckle, a lovely man 

One of my favourite singers. Loved his songs & voice. RIP Roger.

 

One of the first LPs I bought was Roger's.

Always liked his ability to sing, play, and whistle.
