OH has Ribeye and I have venison fillet, both discovered upon searching the freezer.  I haven't yet decided what to do with them but I'm sure it'll turn out okay.

Well it were Steak Bakes shared slightly with pooch, SIL got all my favourites in for me again. I do eat at unusual times though.

I bet the pooch loves you, Arky!  Mind you, I used to spoil my late dog to bits.  He was quite partial to seabass, lamb's liver and a full sunday dinner. 🐟🐶

What sort of dishes do you have from the Chinese?  I'm a crispy duck fan and I love a spicy Singapore 🇸🇬 Chow Mein.

My little one loves broccoli - he calls the florets "trees".

Chinese curry is a favourite in this house, Bobbi.  We get the Mayflower stuff from Home Bargains.  It really does taste like the real thing.  I always like to add bamboo shoots and water chestnuts.

Oh I had crumpets the other day. First time for years.   Lovely!  Got to be real butter on them though.  Can't be doing with the fake stuff on anything.

David, crumpets are a luxury for me as I don't do dense carbs except for the occasional treat.  We have the square sourdough ones in the freezer and they toast so well from frozen - two times on the lowest setting and they come out perfect every time.  The little one loves them with apricot jam. ❤
