The first time I met Lynne in person was a pre-Xmas surprise visit by me to Bolton. That evening, she put one of her favourite vids on & it was our first dance - well, she danced, I tried... :-) x

I like this because it's one of the very few where the cover is as good as the original IMHO. And I adore Annie Lennox :-)

I really dislike A.W.S.of P Canary but I’ve listened to it and Annie Lennox’s cover is very good
I like 'em because they are songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. There are some fine Freeview channels these days ;-)

When I hear this it takes me back to Trent Poly students union in 1975. I can still visualise the rooms, playing pinball, drinking flat Midlands beer with my mates - I'm sure I can still smell the atmosphere.

Games people play Joe South Just started working used to go to a cafe and would have spent a tanner I think playing this record ? Always remember the words an d the guitar work on it. Sorry can’t do links .

SCOENTS (the Sheffield City College of Education Entertainments Committee) managed to book some top acts for our College Balls.

I'm taken back to one in my mind whenever I hear this, with memories of Mud blasting it out live on stage while I tried to chat up a redhead ;-)
