I can take it or leave it.

I had smoked mackerel and poached eggs for breakfast, but no toast.
why does toast not like you barry? perhaps it is the bread rather than the toast
Love it, just had mine, plenty of butter, marmalade and a tiny sprinkling of sea salt.
My toast has to be cold and very crunchy in order for me to be able to eat it.
Poached egg and kippers on toast. Perfect Sunday breakfast. Yum yum.
Cold and crunchy for me too

I can eat bread without problems, JJ, but toast gives my windy jestion.

When I was a kid I used to take crunchy toast with jam to school for morning break. I love it hot and running with butter and cold with jam or peanut butter. Any which way with anything on top.

I have never met anyone that does not like toast
I love toast...and good bread. But both leave me terribly bloated, and affect my joints.
So bread is only a treat.
for some reason plain buttered toast gives me hiccups, good excuse to put marmalade on it. Better still cheese,

Big fan of toast either with strawberry jam or cheese, yum.
It can be a little hard to digest sometimes especially with GERD. Apart from that, lovely!
I'm gluten intolerant so normal bread toast is a no no and the gluten free stuff I've tried is like cardboard.
