Take it to Sainsbury's.
Unless it's got zillions of points on it I would just bin it. These so-called 'loyalty' cards are a gigantic scam. At Sainsbury's you get 1 point (worth 1/2 p) for every pound you spend. In fact you are not saving anything as places like Sainsbury's have to pay Nectar and this is reflected in their pricing. You need to spend £500 to get the smallest discount of £2.50. I briefly worked in Nectar's call centre so I know what I'm talking about'
I don't think they are a scam Jack. I have a Tesco card and it doesn't make my buy anything extra. I had some points about to go out of date and it took £16 off my shopping bill.

Not only that whenever my OH buys his lunch from Tesco I can trace exactly what he's eating because it appears in 'my favourites' :-)
I would be ashamed to admit that I had a Tesco card. The next thing you know is that Gregg's are issuing theirs.
Sainsbury's now own Nectar.
I've never been in Greggs.

What's wrong with shopping in Tesco? I don't actually go in the store, I get my shopping delivered.

OH has a works van and has to fill it a few times a week. That's about £150 - £200 per week, he pays with a works fuel card and collects the points. How is that a scam?

And surely it doesn't matter where you buy your booze and fags?
It's already here Jackdaw: https://www.greggs.co.uk/rewards
Oh, my giddy aunt! I thought I was just taking the P, never thinking it was for real! LOL, LOL and thrice LOL. This has made my day.
I have Sainsbury credit card.
New card deal was 50,000 points bonus for opening card.
Use credit card for fuel , shopping etc and now have £230 in nectar points.
For nectar card I have linked eBay account to it.
Basically this is all normal spending and I'm getting something for nowt.
I thought you were having a dig at me like I was the type of person to eat in Greggs.

Still don't understand what's wrong with Tesco. The last shop I got I had one substitution, they swapped the joint of beef I ordered for a bigger joint of beef...no extra cost.
Still the best horseburgers in the land, Tesco.
Still don't see what's wrong with going to Greggs.
My abhorrence of Greggs and its clientèle will be very familiar to regular posters.
Used to American Express card for buying train season ticket and get treble points for travel. Thus season ticket used to cost over 4,000 quid and thus 12,000 Amex points. Also used card for any business travel and expenses. Basically I would wait for a deal aka 40% airmile bomus and convert Amex points into Virgin airmiles.
Every couple of years we would book 2 economy returns to LA or Vegas and upgrade to Premier economy (business class) out and Upper Class back (seats turn into beds). Used to cost 80,000 airmiles to do this.
Flights would then give you 22,000 airmiles towards next time.

You can now use Amex points to pay for Amazon purchases.
Nothing wrong with Greggs, Sher, it's just associated with chavs. My boss loves it :-)
I got excited when they opened a Greggs here in north Devon.
But they don't sell London Cheese cakes Booo Hisss ....

Never stepped foot in place yet. I phoned up and asked about London cheese cakes.
Ummmm @ 9.06 has hit the nail on the head.
I have had a ham salad sandwich from there while my boss shoved his gob with some sort of sausage and bean pastry bake.
//sausage and bean pastry bake.\\

I mean just how common and unsophisticated can you get?
I once went into a Greggs Bakery for some bread rolls. They don't sell bread rolls, or loaves.

Funny sort of bakery.
