Ukelele. My Strings Keep Slipping!

So far I'm getting on quite well teaching myself the various chords. After 30 seconds they become slack! So frustrating. Can anyone advise??

I did hear that Spath. Apparently, they do settle down after a while. Just very frustrating.Thank you.

Once I've mastered all the chords I shall be trying out all my favourite songs! I have an ear for music which helps...
