Good Morning Early Birds!

Sunday. It's not going to be as nice as yesterday. Typical, I'm going to the docks today for the Tall Ships Festival. Lots to see and do, lots of shenanigans on the water. It should be good fun.
Tiggy was out for most of the night, so it was a lot warmer. He had a good wander round the garden, inspecting his territory and hoovering up the odd gastropod, had half his supper then went walkabout, came back and finished his supper and went of to bed a short while ago.
Have a happy day everyone.

I'm catching up with the Eurovision Song Contest, via iPlayer, at the moment. (I started watching at 1am, so it's getting near the end now).
I've nothing much planned for the day, except for my usual Sunday evening visit to the pub. However a friend from Italy will be there (as she's visiting her flat in Ipswich at the moment) and I know that she'll be giving me my orders for where we're going out to during the week!

She's a Scot ('of mature years'), living in Trieste with her Italian husband. She's actually a friend of my drinking partner, Reg (another Scot), but we seem to get on because she's also got 5 cats.
She's a lovely lady but she's definitely someone who likes things done her own way. (Since that also applies to both me and Reg, it makes for an interesting mix!). She's decided that we're all going out for a walk (or possibly a visit to a garden, or similar), together with a pub lunch, at some time during the week. (Since she's a fussy vegetarian, finding a pub to suit her, isn't easy!).
We'll get our orders tomorrow night!

Yes...fine boaty. I avoid anywhere where there is crowds on Bank Holidays.
I think my old mate Jean Paul Sartre had it right...."L'enfer, c'est les autres", so I am looking forward to spending the day finishing off yesterdays crosswords, and starting on the Sundays !
I bought one of those vanilla brioche loaves from Aldi yesterday, so looking forward to pigging out for breakfast a little later on ! To hell with the calories !
