Yes, for making me laugh - and No, because I still have about 40 of these little black things waiting to make me a fortune!

just think......one day we'll be saying the same about cd's....'do you remember when.........'
As it is we are almost to the point of saying that about videos!
..my 11 year old daughter calles them big cd's...as she has no idea what they are...
better than my mum she trys to put cd`s on the record deck

Don't laugh but I still collect vinyl (favourite bands only) My latest was delivered just a couple of weeks ago: Weezer - We are all on drugs. (7" pink marble)

I still get that tingle when brand new vinyl comes out of the sleeve. I love vinyl (but only play C/D's)

There's nothing wrong with that cherrybomb, i too collect vinyl (coloured / picture discs).  I love to get 7", 10" & 12" singles and albums by my favourite bands.  but i never play them i just collect them and play the cd versions.
I'm sorry to correct you all, but what you have found is my ex-boyfriend's personality. The small hole in the centre is where his charisma should be. I'll let him know you've found it, as I'm sure he'll be wanting it back.

Not sure if it's a record.  Has anyone bettered it?

Where's Norris Mcwhirter when you need him?

sorry

vinyl was much more satisfying ie carefully slide it out of its sleeve and place it on the turntable and then the really satisfying 'thud' as the pick-up hits vinyl !! and then the 'bubub-bubub' (!) when it had ended !

did anyone out there (like me) put a 45 on and left the arm up and away in its position so it played over and over and over and over..............................................................................................................................................................................
No, but I did have a record player that was supposed to play 10 discs - one at a time. The trouble was that nobody had told the machine and they used to drop three or four together!
