Saturday. A short visit this morning. I shall be away at 7, last minute packing etc.

It looks like a nice day on it's way. All the usual suspects out and about this morning. A badger is getting used to me as he/she just sat and watched me walk past a couple of feet away. It usually scuttles of. I'm pleased with that. :o}

Morning boaty xx. Hope the weather holds for your wee break ..I'm cutting grass today then I'm having a day off to read etc. Ache all over so just want to chill a bit before I'm up at mums tomorrow to do some painting and assorted odd jobs round their house...

Morning minty xxx A day's rest will do you the world of good. If you lived close enough I could give you a massage, just as I did for Vera when she overdid it, quite often. :o}

I shall miss you all while I'm away, but it would be bad manners on high to take the poota with me.

It's quite noisy out there with the dawn chorus and fly by pterydactyles....rooks....I live at the back of a big country estate called vogrie and they all come on patrol at this time of a morning...

There is a rookery close by here too, but I hardly ever hear them. Must be a silent order or summat.

In some ways yeah, I miss the solitude and the peace but no rather be home. It's odd, you get youself into a process that manages how you live on your own and it's very difficult to get back into home when you get there...strange!!

I know that one slappy every time we came back from wherever I felt like that.

You get used to your own company Slappy, then take ill out at having to consider others when you get back to home life !

Quiet here today, weekend long lie ins ? Wish I could sleep a bit longer then perhaps I would not feel so pooped all the time !

Afternoon seekz. xxx I'm off to stay with friends for a few days. They have been good friends since long before Vera left this world. They phone me every now and then and tell me I'm going to them for a few days. Lovely people so they are. :o}
