Do you mean nice as is a sweet tune and not all this jungalist cr*p we are unfortunate to hear everywhere.

If you do here goes.

1) Reel around the Fountain-----The Smiths.  One of the sweetest tunes ever recorded.

2) The Only Living Boy in New York-----Simon and Garfunkle from Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Not much air time but by far the most beautiful melody the duo recorded

3) I Wanna Pick You Up-----The Beach Boys. Taken from their "Love You" album, this is in their less popular stage of the 70's. One of the most sentimental lyrics ever about the joys of paternity.

4) Sharon and Hope-----Stina Nordenstam from her "This is Stina Nordenstam" CD. Little known pop princess of Bjork ilk. Not everyone's cup of tea but this song in particular is quite gorgeous.

5) Porpoise Song (Theme from "Head")------The Monkees. Wonderful emotive tune from a bizarre movie. Found on most of their compilations but rarely heard.

6) Still Life-----Suede from their 2nd LP "Dog Man Star". Strings et al make this a wonderful stirring song. Quite beautiful.

7) London's Brilliant Parade----Elvis Costello from his "Brutal Youth". Never heard this one on the old wireless before. His best song EVER. Found it very comforting after the terrorist attacks.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you get to hear them!!

Limelight by the Alan Parsons Project (Track 4 on 'Stereotomy' album.
