Chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce, baby pots, green beans and baby sweet corn...
Go to Waitrose. Apparently they're giving away little quince paste and pear compote sort of things for free...

Blimey, haven't even had B'fast yet!
Crikey, that's planning ahead.

It's normally about 6pm before I stare, disappointedly, into my freezer, and then decide to sod it and go for a bar meal.
Baked ziti....I wish dinner time would hurry up! :)
What is ziti?
Pulled pork burgers with honey sauce, chips and cheese coleslaw, house smells fab as slow cooking it just now.
Psybbo it's a type of pasta.
Something really simple for us I am going to grill some smoked mackerel then flake it and mix with some pasta and a few chopped veggies (I have some sweet potatoes and carrots in the fridge might do them)

Then liberally sprinkle with cheese (optional) voila and cheap easy dinner.

The mackerel was cheap as well it was basics and aslo reduced because of the sell by date so easy and cheap dinner too :-)
Thanks v&c
Not sure but I suspect a baked potato. Not sure what with, maybe tuna & sweetcorn perhaps.
The other half of the chicken basque I made on Tuesday.
Last night was jacket potato and chilli, tomorrow will be a roast, Saturday will be salmon fillets, new potatoes and peas.
Sunday a bowl of porridge.
They're having chicken Kiev (with ham and cheese not garlic butter), crushed potatoes and green beans.

Thanks all. Some nice ideas. I'm at the end of my rope with my lot, this one don't like this, this one don't like that, OH's out so he doesn't want dinner but can I do something....

Arghhhhhhh
i'm not sure. i fancy something naughty as i've been good all day (so far...)

I'm thinking make burgers with cheese in the middle in big crusty rolls or i might get a mini picnic and pick at things, maybe a pizza, could do a chilli.......
I am home alone and have been weighing up my options so far I've considered:-

Chicken Caesar salad
Homemade burger
Lamb kofta with chapati, cachumber, carrot salad and raita
Tandoori chicken with the above
Jambalaya
Smoked haddock chowder
Beef or chicken fajitas with tomatillo salsa (not sure I've got any peppers though)
Cheese, biscuits, pickles, grapes, dried figs and some walnuts
Sausage and fried onion in a roll

.....whatever else I can find lurking in the freezer which really needs a good sorting out and eating up!
mmmm quite fancy a lamb kebab now, i'd have to go buy the lamb though

and the pittas

and the yoghurt

mmmmmmmmmmm
I made a decent chilli the other night - hadn't cooked one for ages. Just right for a chilly Autumn evening.
