I'm sometimes around for the early morning threads but nearly always because I've slipped into my semi-nocturnal mode. (My body clock functions best when I go to bed at around 5am and get up in the early afternoon). If I actually have to get up around this time of day (as I will on Friday and Saturday for work) I leave it to the very last moment, so I'll definitely not have time to post on AB!

Janbee:
I'm off to bed now but I'll offer the suggestion that having two cats howling at each other in your bedroom (with one of them perched on your chest, digging its claws in) is even more troublesome than the sound of foxes!
(Written from experience!)
(BTW: Noisy foxes are rarely fighting; they're usually mating. The male has a barbed penis, which causes great pain to the female when withdrawn)

Morning Boaty, Bob has been moved to a different hospital that 'specialises' in 'rehabilitating the elderly'. I think it's clever speak for building them up to go home. I haven't seen him for a week due to being busy elsewhere and am dependent on updates from family. Sunday was a mixed day - had a great time with the granddaughters - grandson came with us and he hadn't seen his cousins for quite a while and they all played happily in the garden. Not everything went so well though - in fact there's times when I wish I had just get my big gob shut.
