Have you heard this years 'Eurovision' song entry for 2013?

Its called 'Believe in me' sung by 61 year old Bonny Tyler.
I can't believe I'm saying this but ITS GOOD, I've heard it a few times now & it gets better & better. Bonny still has got it, its a belter & suits her voice.

We've got a good chance in Sweden this year. IMO.(May 16th)

People said much the same last year.
I first heard it without listening to the words. My initial reaction was that it too slow for Eurovision, and sounded a bit like a dirge.
She hasn't got a hope in hell.
Isn't a Eurovision question in the Music section something of an oxymoron?

I haven't heard it yet. Is it one of those boring, endless dreary ballads they keep entering with or have we got something a bit more up tempo and cheerful for a change this time?
Don't think Bonnie does 'cheerful', dave.

Not many Eurovision fans out there then?

I like it & feel it will make the top 5. You may titter but we'll see!

Written by Tony Iommi out of Black Sabbath, I believe.
It won't matter how good it is Jem, you'd get better odds it being in the bottom 5!
Has anyone heard Ireland's entry? It's much better.

I think the Eurovision Song Contest is all about politics, nothing to do with songs or singing. Its you scratch my back and I will scratch yours. Unfortunately nobody wants to scratch our back here in the Uk lol lol.
Ireland's offering.....................

Used to love Bonnie Tyler.....then........ Total Eclipse of my Heart was epic. This is average and probably closer to nil points than winning.

The Ireland song is pretty good but is it good enough to win?
I'm sure the Irish hope not as they haven't the cash to fund next years contest.
I'm with sammy48. I agree with you Jemisa, it is good but for political reasons i.e. everybody hates us we haven't a hope in Hell.

No, he wrote Armenia's entry Zacs.
Didn't I see on here the other day that it was going to be Bonnie Langford? Am I going mad?
