There's an instrumental song that's not on the Blues Brothers soundtrack that's used throughout the film. It's not the Peter Gunn theme. It's used most during the final car chase and during the warm-up for the concert in the original Blues Brothers.

If its the one thats playing when there having a car chase in the shopping mall then its the horn rift taken from an otis redding song called i cant turn you loose. Live versons are more like the film track though i know of no purely instrumental track
