And why...

Could be U2 ....... Why .... Even though I have seen U2 on a few occasions I think Bono has made far too much 'money to talent' ratio. They have a limited back catalogue considering how long they have been going, spew out live albums because they have nothing new to offer

Richest pop/rock star in the world now .....lucky man.

Could be Pet Shop Boys ... why ?

they are Sugar.

lol ... to spice the concert up a bit , Neil Tennant gets the backing dancers to wear a box on their heads, whilst to really send the crowd wild he changes either his coat or wears a hat ......brilliant.

Hi Mick, where as U2 may be passed it now, in the 80s they were brilliant. I saw them in 85 at the MK Bowl on the Unforgettable Fire tour and 87 at Wembley Stadium on the Joshua Tree tour and the band and the atmosphere was amazing...
In answer to you question, Coldplay?
Oasis
I love Oasis and I like stuff from Noel's High Flyin Birds and Liam's Be\ady Eye. Coldplay are okay in my opinion and U2 have made some good stuff and I know they are good live.
I can't think of anyone. (I wouldn't dare mention Garth Brooks.) If I don't like something I respect the opinion of those that do. My own tastes seem odd to some
Ed Sheeran. Sorry local boy and all that, but I just don't get it.
Rhianna!
I would agree with U2 (although their first two albums were good everything after that just seems like a re working) and Coldplay (droning cliched lyrics to average tunes). For me Oasis take the biscuit. A diluted pastiche of Beatles songs for people too young to remember the Beatles.
JLS

I've seen them "live" at the Capital Ball, and they mimed. If I wanted to hear their recorded voices, I'd buy a CD! And even on their recordings, they have the benefit of engineering and production.

I would have said Cheryl Cole, but I don't think she's "overrated" because nobody seriously rates her as a singer.
Of current artists - Tulisa.

She can't sing, her music is crap, she goes on about how she worked her way up from Camden town as if Camden town was in Kabul. She has nothing about her. At all.
oh has to be Mr.Gwineth Paltro from cold play
I agree with Evian's point ...

Camden Town is a bit of a musical Mecca. Good musicians don't try to get OUT of Camden, they try to get IN to Camden. I've seen some great gigs there.
Yup, Tulisa sucks.
Will i am what does he really do, how come he has made so much money also Jessie J her performance at the Olympic Closing was farcical. Agree about Bono
Coldplay, with Blur a close second.
Paul Mccartney, cannot sing hes a parasite who lived off John Lennon
"Yup, Tulisa sucks."

Not that her boyfriend minds.
Mary ... I think Will I Am makes most of his money from production.

Jessie J ... She was FAB!
I realise that its 'each to their own' and whilst I agree U2 have ran out of steam now surely the sign of any great act is to survive at the top as long as they have? Arguably 25 years of top (in my opinion) material.

Most overrated artist at the moment must be Lady Gaga. Shes all smoke and mirrors to disguise the average songs.
