one visible sighting only 10 10 pm for 4 mins W departing S and if you go out just before that there is a chance you will see the progress supply ship at 10 01pm same direction. It was seen last night not so bright as the ISS but clearly visible

I saw them both last night, wendilla. We were sitting in the garden and watched them both glide over. It looked like something running after it's mum.
Thanks as always.
No apostrophe in that 'its'.............duh!
thanks wendilla.

i'll see if i can get it right tonight ---
--- from west to east?
West to south excel.

That's exactly how I saw it to see it gliding across after the ISS went out of view was fantastic. Remember it will be in front tonight. Should be due for docking with the ISS.
raining here again so no chance.

Howard where are you that you have rain? Could be doing with some here in the night.

Thank you for the posts Wendilla. Brilliant view tonight from my patio in Rothwell.

Super clear view again here in Leics. But did not spot the supply ship tonight.
Bugger I forgot...................
that was a great view..not a cloud in the sky..
Je suis dans Edinburgh.
Thanks Wendilla - truly magical sighting over Coventry tonight

wendilla -- i saw it.

it was so bright - i could not miss it.
there is a large playing field 5 mins walk from me, no lights.
it was very bright and the light was steady - and did not follow a straight line, it moved in an arc.
it was not directly overhead -- i was looking about 40 -50 degrees up.
that had to be it.
through my binoculars it was even more dazzling ----
---- thank you
excel - not sure that was it, the ISS follows a dead straight line across the sky.....

We had loads of Chinese lanterns out last night, nice to see but people kept going "ooh, a space station..."

what time tomorrow, wendilla?
the arc was not too pronounced - but there was a very slight curve.
i was looking in the right place ---- what else could it be?
I can't give you an alternative, but every time I've seen it, it just treks straight across without any deviation - whether it's high in the sky or low on the horizon.
maybe it was just my perception of the tracking.
