I have this site permanently open in the tray but, often, when I click on it it says server not found. I then have to click on the list on the right hand side to get the live camera. Is this a fault of the webcam or is it my computer?

No, I think they've changed the link - I can't get in with one click as I used to.

Thanks, boxtops. It's a bit irritating isn't it? However I have just seen the chick being fed. They left it on its own this morning, for about two minutes. I was biting my nails until the female came back.
Tilly, try this shortcut, it takes me right to the webcam page http://scottishwildli...ebcams/loch-of-lowes/

Thanks, boxtops, but it still keeps stopping and saying server not found. I get a picture for about a minute and then have to reclick to get it back again. Maybe, it's the adobe flash player which needs updating.

Anyway, the left it on its own again this morning. Do you know how old the chick will be before it fledges? I do worry about it.
I don't know exactly, tilly, but it's only a matter of weeks before it's huge and flapping its wings! I wouldn't worry overmuch (nothing we can do, anyway!) - Lady's an excellent mother and has fledged nearly 50 chicks in the past, she's an amazing bird. Dad's doing his stuff bringing the food in, too.
PS tilly, could be, we are on Adobe v10 here.

You're right, boxtops, there's nothing we can do. I'll just keep watching and hoping. (but, I'll still bite my fingernails when it's on its own!)
Lovely film of Lady feeding the chick at the moment!
