It might be! You'll have to give us your definition of "famous", though. The Beatles had their first hit before Garth was even one year old - is that what you mean?
he is a dreadful singer!
Mind you saying that, I've never rated any of the Beatles as good singers individually, together they make a nice tune though
Fame has nothing to do with ability though, and is a subjective thing dependant on whom you ask- I'd say not generally if I had to wager money on it though.
Who?
If memory serves me correctly he's pretty much alongside Elvis as the best selling solo artist in the States if that helps you any?
Not more famous no. Everyone's heard of the Beatles , not the case for Garth Brooks.
I had only heard of Garth Brooks through Dot's obsession on here. Definitely NOT more famous than the Beatles!
More famous than The Beatles...Garth Crooks?..what is the connection?

Garth does"nt half work himself into a Lather, every Saturday,on Final Score.
I though Garth Brooks was a football player!
Isn't there someone on here who is Garth crazy?
Dot Hawkes is Garth-mad postdog
a few years ago an advert for an album by hootie and the blowfish sought to prove, by rather dubious statistics, that they were the most popular band in the world at that time. at face value the cased appeared proved.

garth brooks more famous that the beatles? depends......
Simple answer? No.
Firstly we have to find out if Garth Brooks is more famous than Jesus and work on from there.
Lay off my hero you lot - absolutely love Garth Brooks. His song "The Dance" gets to me every time.
Loved the Beatles and Elvis too - don't think it's a competition, they're just different but great in their own way.
No-one's having a go at your 'hero' MB. Just answering the question.
I quite like Garth...well, some of his stuff, but I would say the beatles are more widely known.
''I though Garth Brooks was a football player!''

No, that's Darth Vader...
Garth is just another"Prat-in-a-Hat",bet you would"nt recognise him, without it!
I'd say he's not more famous than the Beatles. I'd never heard of him until I discovered AnswerBank.
