Goodfellas for a superb storyline, plot twists and great acting.

most definately 'jesus of nazareth' directed by franco zephereli. i'm not at all religious but its an absolute masterpiece.
Pulp fiction-Cache 22-Deliverance,All great films.

Finding Nemo -  for all round joy. Shadowlands - a superb story. The Others - a superb final twist, and I must agree with natty, Jesus of Nazareth was a class on its own.

the italian job as the ending is a real cliff hanger
Pulp Fiction for the dialogue, Rear Window for pure style and (I expect to be judged harshly) Miss Congeniality for easy laughs from an undemanding chick flick
les diaboliques, directed by henri-georges clouzot. amazingly directed, fantastic dialogue, the only let-down is that the lead female role cannot act to save her life and was only cast as she is clouzot's wife. (watch out for the fainting scene by the pool - classic)
I think 'Ban this Chatty Question" by Abraham Editor

"naked" by mike leigh.

or "things to do in denver when you're dead"

idiotic: you're sooooo right. heaven preserve us from people trying to find out about other users' ideas of what a great film might be. disgusting. next thing you know, they'll be allowing us to express emotion. yuck.

Pulp Fiction form repeat watchability.  The Big Lebowski for laughs. Memento for head-scrambliness.  (spot the made up words!).
