What's the best film scene ever filmed in a bar/pub setting?

There are of course many to choose from, but for me it would have to be Goodfellas - "Billy Batts get whacked".

The opening scene of Carry on Abroad. Genius.
If you include TV scenes, the best would have to be the bar scene in "Boys from the Blackstuff". There's a million things going on, including a redundancy party, a drunk landlord and Shake Hands breaking everyone's fingers. At this point you're thinking "all we need is for Yosser to come in" and sure enough he does.

corganiser you beat me!

and me ! But another one of my favourites was in Star Wars 'A New Hope' when Obi- Wan, Luke and the Droids go to Mos Eisley to find transport to the Alderan System. The Cantina Band, all the strange creatures and the bloke who got his arm cut off with a Lightsaber was all very enteraining
There are a couple of good ones in 'The French Connection'.

You're all wrong: it's got to be the scene from "Near Dark" that begins with the vampires striding in and Bill Paxton declaring, "Well lookee here: s***kicker heaven" and ends with most of the humans in the bar drained.

Great music ("Fever"), great lines ("I hate it when they ain't been shaved") and great use of spurs as an offensive weapon.

Every pub scene involving Begbie in Trainspotting. Lobbing his pint glass off the balcony, starting the fight after, losing at pool to Tommy or at the end after they've sold the heroin.
Women dancing on bars - Coyote Ugly - always a brings a smile to the face.

The scene in Roxanne where Steve Martin has to name 20 insults about his nose after throwing darts with the local loudmouth then gives him a beating after.
