david you really do sound like a sad loanly little man who has nothing better to do than angue with a complete stranger, you could always cut your wrists if your that SAD you complete T W A T
Norman has a poor track record when it comes to answering questions on motoring law. Trust your solicitor, not Norman because (unsurprisingly) your solicitor knows the law.

The legislation states your 'probationary period' lasts from two years from the date on which you became a 'qualified driver'. It further states that you become a qualified driver on the date on which you first pass a driving test. It then goes on to state that your probationary period ends early if, after having had your licence revoked for acquiring 6 points, you then pass another test.

matt im presuming you were obviously driving like an a r s e h o l e hence the reason you lost your licence. everybody knows you only get the benefit of 6 points in the first 2 years or your banned. well maybe not everybody.

DAVID
listen you silly sad little man, Myself and 30 others at my works all thought we were covered on the company insurance, when in fact the insurance had not been paid hence the insurance company stoped our cover. I got pulled over and the court were not exactly understanding. now go away ,your are starting to boar me you judgmental T W A T
listen you asked for peoples opinions and answers and maybe their help, it is up to you to make sure you are insured, if this was the case then im sure a judge would have understood seeing as there were more people involved than just you . im not judgemental i just think that alot of people talk s h i t e on here looking for sympathy!!!! or someone else to blame. why didint they tell you you were not covered??
once you have been revoked under the new drivers act (6 points in first 2years) you cannot be revoked under that act twice, however if you go on to accumulate 12 points i.e get another 6 point you will then face a disqualification period for 6-12 months (judge decides) you then pay 60 to get your full licence back once the disqual has ended.
