Oh dear. I feel your pain.

Have you got a person coming in to fix it or try to sell you a new one?

Don't worry, you'll get through this ;)
How long have you 2 been married ?
I hope you get all the help you need Melv. It won't be easy. x

I feel your pain, Melv. When mine died on CHRISTMAS DAY it was the worst 48 hours of my life.

Lol Barmaid my Oven and cooker died on Christmas day 3 years ago - have you ever tried doing a Christmas dinner in a George Forman a steamer and a slow cooker!!
Oh my, that's awful. Could you not barbeque? lol. Although my bbq is a bit fancy and I've managed to cook a Roast in it and even a pizza in the middle of a field in the ****** rain.
Noooo my bbq at the times was an oil drum!
We managed even if it meant carving semi raw turkey breast and finishing on the GF!!
Plenty of champagne helped!

It's like losing a friend, will I ever get over it;-)
Melv. There is a grieving process. It will take time. There is much you can do to alleviate the pain. Firstly I would suggest you get a new one AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Secondly, make sure your stocks of alcohol are topped up.

I'm a Yorkshireman and buying a new one will mean parting with money...waaiiiiiilllll:-)
Send for the cavalry, ao.com are pretty quick! Look on the bright side, the Black Friday sales are starting, you might get a 'bargain'. My OH decided that 11am on Christmas Day was a good time to put the washing machine on and put the oven gloves in there.
A Yorkshireman? Turn the sofa upside down and shake it hard.
You're from Yorkshire? Just stick the plates out in the rain.....

It's a pity that Mrs O is no longer with us. I'm sure she would have been more than happy to lend you her Marigolds.
....and I'll send you some tea towels. I have a few to spare.
