Hate the water bubble sound it makes when locked and you touch screen. How can I stop this? Im on the verge of stamping on the dreadful thing!

You could try switching off the Sound via going into:-

'Settings>Sound>Screen lock sound'
and
'Settings>Sound>Touch sounds'

I'm sure the settings allow you to change the sounds of stuff. Do you not have an Icon/App to open that page ?
