vetra wont start? v reg 1.8

hi my v reg 1.8 vectra wont start been working fine now all of a sudden it will turn over but wont start i have no engine lights showing on dash so am a little stumped. it has started twice if left long enough so wndering if it the immobiliser playing up anyone know how to fix it or by pass it would be very grateful. only other thing i can think of is coil pack i never had a proper vauxhalll key with this car but it hasn't played up before and owned it 12 months many thanks

could be one of the sensors playing up, crank sensor (if fitted) is favourite.
needs to be diagnosed before paying out on parts you dont need,
typical of these more modern cars, my sons corsa just stopped working overnight - ended up costing £900 to fix, on a car worth £1500.

may be worth getting something else if you have the budget. if not a cheap fix

hi didnt think crank sensor would stop it starting. plus wouldnt it give you an engine fault light on dash as i aint got one. thanks for help.
didnt come up on the corsa either - but wouldnt start- but turn over all day

got it towed to garage who told me it was the fuel pump and charged me £90 which was a second hand one i reckon they pulled a fast one here but at least car now runs cost me about £160 once towing and other bits added. thanks for help
