We all know that the open road can be a joy to drive - yet the key component of this statement is "open". When faced with everyone we have to share the nation's roads with we may feel differently about "the joy of driving". Some are rude and others are quite frankly dangerous. With this in mind, which driver "type" do you think poses the most risk to others?

Oops. river = driver
Let's face the fact here Panic, we are aware of Motorways If there a slip road coming off the M there will be a slip road coming on, I am not condemning her daughter in any way maybe it's the way I drive in forward thought, by this I mean & you have seen it Panic, time & time again when the motorist even HGV's have left it until the last min & have no-where to go as there are traffic in the middle when traffic is merging from the left, in-turn slowing down as you know this can be like signing your own death wish with the volume of traffic on the M roads. as you are aware Motorway driving is completely different from your A+B roads as the traffic on them are to a point slower, I may have missed a point here but I still stick by what I have stated, you see it daily I'm sure to much blame is placed on HGVs it's any easy option, a few weeks back I placed a post on regarding window pillar cameras in Car / HGVs in case something like this happens, in this case the the case would have been proven who was at fault.

Lucy, in my years of driving apart from what I've added are drivers that you cannot predict what they are going to do next, an unsure driver is, as far as I am concerned a danger to other road users.
drunnk ones - of any age, driving any vehicle, with any type of licence and of any gender
The ones that have no car tax, insurance and driving licenses
twr ( we are aware of Motorways If there a slip road coming off the M there will be a slip road coming on,)
this does not apply to all slip roads unless the motorways are built different up north.
not all slip roads drop down on to motorways some go up and some are on the same level.
Are there any straws your way DrFilth? you seem to be picking at them.
TWR just pointing out a few facts, how about a slip road that joins the motorway from the right. you then get slow moving vehicles joinng the fast lane traffic ?
ps , i have put fast lane so that people know i mean outside lane.
Joining from the right???? Are you in the UK? we join here from the left.
we have at least one up north ?
I'm up North and I must say I have never joined from the right.............
Try joining the M11 from the clockwise north circular.

I do it in an artic, and you get dumped into the rigt hand lane with faster traffic to your left.
Also try going north on the M40 where it merges with the M42 near Birmingham.

Not such a bad case, as it is more a merger of two motorways, rather than a slip road from the right. You still have lorries at 56 trying to merge with faster traffic on the left though.
Elderly, nervous drivers - especially those with a hat on. And the ones who need a cushion on the seat to be able to see over the steering wheel. I don't think that learner drivers should be included in this survey - we all had to start somewhere, and hopefully there's a great difference between learner driver on their first lesson, and learner driver on their 20th lesson.
