I have a new battery for a vauxhall corsa 1.2. I just wonder if the battery can be put in a vauxhall Zafira 1.8. I noticed that the one in the corsa is a bit smaller. Is there any thing I need to know before I put the battery in the Zafira?

The amphere-hour capacity recommended for a given vehicle
it would probably cover you short term but i doubt it would be man enough to last over winter especially after a few frosty mornings, 1.8 takes far more amps to turn over than a 1.2
The other small problem you may have is securely fitting a smaller size battery, they have to be clamped in position to be legal.
