I have an Orchid (don't know which type) that has been in flower since the very begining of May - and it still has 16 flowers on it - I reckon it will last at least another month easily !

Yeah, they must be tough TT - it's the only one I don't worry about when I go away !!!

As for "caring" I take it that was said a bit tongue-in-cheek ???
As I said - it seems to thrive on abuse -
Still, I'd hate to lose it !
I have had three orchids and all of them died within a few weeks of being in my hands. Perhaps I should stick to the garden.
Question Author
Hiya BM !

Now that IS strange Mazie - and I thought mine was crazy !
I was bought one for Christmas.....produced about 12 flowers....I chopped it down......in June/July it produced 24 flowers.........now has just produced another 12 flowers.......I rarely remember to water it....
Question Author
Blimey Craft - I dread to think what mine'd do if I chopped it back !!
Mind you - it needs something doing to it to try & control it !
strange but true Debsy. hardly water it. It sits on the window sill watching all our ablutions...and still hasn't wilted. Hi
well according to the instructions if chopped back to about 18cms it will flourish....
Question Author
