with most track rod ends they are usually easy to get off
once you have managed to get it free from the tapered seating,
shop around for a good priced replacement part.
When doing this job THINK SAFETY, Jack up you car turn the steering wheel full lock to the side you are starting on, take out your Ign key to lock the steering, wire brush the T/R/End & spray well with WD40, Turn the nut to the right then left, right, then left then start to unscrew, put some white tape on the thread that is showing so you get the new T/R/end in the right position, when you have undone the nut use a copper hammer to crack the seal between the lower//higher arm & the T/R/End (do not hit the thread,) , then remove, clean the area well & use some copper grease on the stem of the new part & insert into the lower /higher arm, replace with a new nut again using copper grease & tighten up slowly if you find that the whole stem is turning put the stem on an angle to draw it home, when done, check check & check again, do not think you may have tightened it, CHECK IT.
Buy a ball joint splitter they only cost a few pounds plus a heavy hammer - this will make the job much easier
once you have replaced them you will have to get the tracking done on your car
