Hi I have a leak around my petkok on my motorbike tank and I need a way to seal it. I cannot remove the petkok as the bolts have threaded in the cavity of the tank so a gasket is out of the question. the tank is PLASTIC and the petkok METAL any answers??? cheers. PETKOK is not spelt properly but it wouldn't let me submit it spelt correctly. cheers

Hi Redmudcab, the advise I can offer on this for your safety & others, take the bike to a Motor Bike dealer & let them sort this problem out, If the fuel drops onto your exhaust I don't think you need bother about the leak!!!!!
couple of points,
petrol on exhaust will just evaporate.... usually BUT petrol on rear wheel will spit you off.( both not 100% definate before peeps argue.)
you can and should use a gasket, but has someone used bolts that are too long and have pushed into the petrol tank? if so you are going to need something to seal the threads when you re-screw them in.
