car insurance
my friend is going away soon and he is going to lend me his car, do l go through my own insurance, l am fully comp on my own car(which is knackered) until 9th feb... can l get a 1 month policy through my insurers

You will have to ask your present insurer to do a change of vehicle on your current policy, this will mean that your car that is unservicable might not be insured, you will have to check this with the company your with. don't drive his car thinking your covered without doing this first. A lot of people think they are covered to drive any other vehicle because they are fully comp, even if you are covered it is only third party.
