shop round though, they are the recommended prices, a lot of places will do MOTs cheaper. I paid �36 pounds for mine and that included the car being collected from my work and returned.

They are not 'recommended prices'; the list given is for the maximum permitted charge. Any price you pay for an MOT is a 'real price'.
